Welcome to my world of yoga.

Hi my name is Lindsey, I am British and have been living in Tokyo since 1997. I speak English and Japanese fluently. I have a great passion for yoga and wellness.

I am Yoga Alliance registered with 500 hrs of teacher training and over 2000 hours of teaching experience and countless hours of self practice.

I have been an student of yoga since 2007 and a teacher since January of 2015. Yoga gives me an amazing sense of equilibrium and helps me to feel balance in this busy city of Tokyo.

I welcome ALL people to yoga class and teach with compassion and understanding. I know how it feels to walk into a place where you don’t know how you will be treated and don’t know if you can do all of the movements. It can feel intimidating. I think when you take a class with me you will see that I create a warm and welcoming environment, I will encourage you to greet your physical self but I will never push you more than you are comfortable with. In my first experience of a yoga class I was asked to leave when I got a fit of giggles trying to balance in tree pose. You can imagine after that experience that it took me a while to go back to yoga class, but I’m so glad that I did. I encourage experimentation and a sense of fun in class. We practice together we are not perfect.

Having experienced so many benefits from yoga myself, I would love to share this work with everyone so they can see for themselves all the benefits that a yoga practice can have.

I’m really eager for everyone to know that yoga really is for EVERYBODY. I want people to know that being young and slim and flexible is not a prerequisite to coming to class. If you have a body it doesn’t matter how you move it or what it looks like you are welcome in my class.
