Ginger Shots.

After getting Covid a few weeks ago I have really made a supreme effort to build up my immunity and give myself strong reserves by eating healthily and doing my yoga practice. I hopefully don’t get Covid again any time soon and so I don’t catch any winter colds or flu. I really like this recipe for ginger shots and they make you feel really alive and a much needed boost in the middle of the day.. You don’t have to follow the amounts to the letter and feel free to add more or less honey depending on the sweetness that you prefer.

All you need are

  • 2 large knobs of ginger

  • 1 tablespoon of honey

  • juice of 1 lemon

  1. First you peel the ginger then grate it roughly

  2. Put the ginger in a sieve and strain the liquid out of the grated pulp, squeeze the pulp with your hands to get all the liquid out.

  3. Juice the lemon into the ginger liquid.

Add the honey and stir until it disolves

You should have enough for 4 ginger shots. Enjoy - bottoms up!
